I started studying Japanese when I wanted to read Haruki Murakami's novels in their original Japanese.
This time, I took the JPT test for the first time because my company required a language qualification.
JPT is held monthly, so it was easier to schedule than other exams.
For the first time in a while, I was in a student mode, and I felt like I had worked hard and felt a sense of accomplishment.
I also liked that all the examiners could speak many different languages and were kind. In this exam, I realized that my ability to understand the content of conversations was weak.
From now on, I would like to proceed with my work while having more lively discussions with Japanese corporate customers and produce results.

I decided to study Japanese because I wanted to live in Japan.
This was my first time taking the JPT as I had no experience of taking any other Japanese language proficiency exams, but I thought it would measure my Japanese communication skills and it was a useful reference for my Japanese studies.
When I took the exam, there were many areas where I thought I was weak, such as grammar, vocabulary, honorific language, the ability to understand conversation content, the ability to respond appropriately to questions, the ability to read and write kanji, and the ability to read sentences.
From now on, I want to become even better at Japanese, and I want to work in Japan.

I've been in Japan for about 1 year and 3 months, and I think Japan is the best environment for students.
Study in a well-developed educational system, experience unique and new cultures, and acquire a more international perspective. I went to Japan to study abroad.
This time, I took the JPT test for the first time because I wanted to know my Japanese level.
I think the good thing about the JPT is that you can measure your current Japanese level without feeling any pressure compared to other exams.
It is also useful for earning credits and graduation certificates at schools, preferential treatment at companies, etc. I thought I could actually take the test and measure my Japanese communication skills.
In addition to grammar and conversation, there are so many new words and kanji that I need to memorize, so I want to keep trying.

I decided to study Japanese after reading novels such as "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" by Haruki Murakami.
I took the JPT exam this time because I thought it would be advantageous for going to higher education or getting a job, and because I wanted to know my current level of Japanese.
JPT is good because you can take it every month, and depending on your score you can graduate from Japanese language school.
When I actually took the exam, I realized that I lacked the ability to read and write kanji and sentences.
From now on, I would like to be able to have daily conversations in Japanese.

It's been over 11 years since I came to Japan, but this is my second time taking the exam because I thought it would give me an advantage at work.
I think it is good that you can take the JPT test every month.
When I actually took the exam, I realized that I lacked the ability to read and write honorific language, kanji, and sentences in Japanese.
From now on, I want to study honorific language.

It's been 14 years since I came to Japan, and I decided to take the JPT exam because I thought it would be beneficial for my job.
By actually taking the test, I was able to measure my Japanese communication skills, which I thought would be advantageous for finding a job in Japan.
I felt that my ability to understand grammar, vocabulary, and conversation content was weak.
I haven't used my JPT score yet, but taking the test has given me more confidence in myself. From now on, I would like to try to get a job at a Japanese company.

I took the JPT test for the first time because I thought it would give me an advantage in pursuing higher education and work, and I also wanted to know my current level of Japanese.
I think the good thing about JPT is that you can take the exam anytime during the year.
When I actually took the test, I thought it would measure my Japanese communication skills, and I realized that my ability to use honorific language, understand the content of conversations, and respond appropriately to questions was weak.
From now on, I would like to use Japanese at work.

HUONG NGUYEN THI LAN
(VIETNAM・Student)
When I was in Vietnam, I saw Japanese and thought it was difficult but interesting because it has hiragana, katakana, and kanji. After I started studying it, I really started to like Japanese.
After taking the JPT test, I thought it would be helpful for learning Japanese. JPT is not divided by level, but includes all questions at levels equivalent to N5 to N1.
Also, since there are a large number of questions and the exam time is relatively short, you will have to think quickly, but I think this will allow us to accurately evaluate each person's Japanese language ability.
Another good thing is that there are exams every month and the results are quick.
JPT scores can also be used when entering vocational schools, so I would like to further check my communication skills in the future. Also, after taking the exam, I realized that my ability to respond appropriately to questions was weak, so I would like to use Japanese often at work, school, and in my daily life to gain experience and knowledge.
