When I had to express my feelings in Japanese, I couldn't do it properly and it was painful, so I started studying Japanese. I passed JLPT N3 once, but I failed N2. I felt bad about that and really wanted to pass N2, so I took the JPT exam for the first time.
It's been a long time since I last took the exam, so I was nervous and couldn't answer all the reading comprehension questions in time, so I'll try harder next time. While the JLPT has a result of passing and failing (failure), the JPT allows me to see how far I can go, so I felt like I was being pushed back instead of feeling like a failure. Since you can use your JPT score when job hunting, your activities will become more enjoyable from now on.
I want to do work that helps people in my own way. I would like to work especially for foreigners in need, such as interpreting or welfare work. Thanks to JPT, I was able to confirm my abilities, and I am truly grateful. I'm 58 years old, but I feel like I can still do my best.

I sent documents to about 10 companies to apply for jobs in Japan, but I didn't receive any replies. All of my documents and emails at that time were written in English, but one company said, 'I'm interested in working in Japan. I started studying Japanese when I received a reply saying, ``If you want to do that, Japanese is important.'' At first, I studied on my own, but I realized that it wasn't enough, so I enrolled in a Japanese language school.
After taking the JPT test, I thought it would be helpful for learning Japanese. Compared to other Japanese language proficiency exams, results are announced and transcripts are issued quickly.
Since I was able to use my JPT score in my job hunting, I would like to apply to various companies and take on the challenge.

It's been 22 years since I came to Japan, but I took the JPT test because I thought it would measure my Japanese communication skills.
I was able to take the test every month, and the test covered a wide range of subjects, so I felt like I was getting a feel for my true communication skills. I started studying Japanese because I wanted to have conversations with local people in the country's language. At school, I can understand simple Japanese.
I think the good thing about JPT is that it allows you to measure your current level of Japanese without feeling pressured compared to other exams. After actually taking the exam, I found it useful for learning Japanese. Also, I found out that I am weak in reading and writing kanji, so I would like to study more and become able to speak fluently in daily life.
