HAN SUBIN
(REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Undergraduate student)
I started learning Japanese in university, but I have learned by watching anime long before.
I took JPT because I wanted to measure my Japanese ability above N1,and I am happy to be able to answer more types of listening and reading questions because of it. I was quite nervous when I first took the test, but I was able to answer the questions by thinking of what I have learned until today. And I feel that I was able to show my real ability because I could really concentrate that I felt time was moving so fast.
This time, the test made me realize my weak points, and I want to get a better score next time by focusing on grammar and vocabulary more.

S・W
(THAILAND, Housewif)
At first I started learning Japanese because my mother forced me to. But as time goes, learning Japanese gets more and more interesting, so I continued learning it.
I took JPT because I felt that it would be a great advantage since my goal is to work in Japan. The good point of JPT is that the result of the test is not determined by passing or not passing, instead they use scoring method, and by looking at the score, each individual can know which level to take if they think of taking JLPT. JPT is not a test to show that you can if you memorize, but they measure a person’s communication ability.
And I want to improve my Japanese skill by speaking, and reading more.

HAMIDAH
(INDONESIA, Temporary employee)
There are various Japanese cultures in Indonesia, and I grew up surrounded by them. I have interests in Japanese subculture. Now I am putting a lot of effort in learning Japanese because I want to work as a full-time employee in Japan, and become a bridge between Japan and Indonesia friendly exchanges.
I took the JPT because I thought it would be advantageous for my work because I could measure the ability of JLPT above N1. Compared to other Japanese exams, JPT was good because it is able to measure my communication skills.
After taking the exam, I realized that I am not good in reading sentences, so I will continue to study Japanese from YouTube and newspapers.

PARK JUN HYEOK
(REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Undergraduate student)
I took the JPT because I wanted to know my current level of Japanese.
I think the advantage of JPT is that it has more test schedules than JLPT. Also, when I actually took the exam, I thought that JPT would be really useful for learning Japanese.
In the future, I would like to know more about Japanese culture and want to work a job related to Japan. Because of that, I would like to do my best to study the writing and reading of Kanji, which is the weak part of my Japanese ability.

JIN SHUOJI
(CHINA, Graduate student)
I came to Japan since universities in Japan have a Double Degree program*. JPT has the same scoring system and contents as TOEIC®, so I can measure my ability in detail. Since I could not comprehend everything yet at the listening section, I will practice my listening more so that I can respond to things more quickly.
My goal is to be able to perfect my Japanese to work in Japan, and be the bridge between China and Japan.
*A program that let students have 2 degrees after they graduate

KHAOKOM PHATSARAKORN
(THAILAND, Undergraduate student)
I started learning Japanese because there are a lot of Japanese companies in my country, and I want to work for them in the future if I am able to speak Japanese.
I feel that JPT is much better than other proficiency tests because it is not based on pass or fail scoring system, because of that we can measure our own ability. I understand my weak point in my Japanese ability, and it has been a great reference. I want to learn polite Japanese and business related Japanese in the future.

KIM BOEUN
(REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Undergraduate student)
The reason I started learning Japanese is because I wanted to study in Japan.
My goal is to be able to speak Japanese as fluent as I speak like my mother tongue. I took JPT because I wanted to know my Japanese ability, and I think it's great that I am able to understand my ability more accurately since JPT shows my score.
I want to read more books since my reading is not good enough.
-
NISHAAT ANEESAH
(INDIA, Graduate student)
The reason I started studying Japanese was because I met a lot of Japanese friends in India.
I took the test since I wanted to measure my communication skill, and to measure the ability above N1 JLPT. I felt that JPT is great because of it’s various level of questions from beginner to advance level.
I plan to go back to India to teach Japanese after I fully master Japanese while I am in Japan.

MAIMAITI NUERBIYE
(CHINA, Graduate student)
I took JLPT last year, and I did not pass, because I could not finish the reading part.
But this time I took JPT, and I achieved the result, equivalent to JLPT N1. It boosted my confidence. And since I know my weak points, I am going to study more and get better.
JPT is useful for applying jobs or to continue further studies, and I am recommending JPT to all my friends.
After I go back to China, I want to use my ability to help students who want to pursue their goal to study in Japan, and to be a tour guide by using Japanese and English too.

SUN YAN
(CHINA, Undergraduate student)
The reason I took JPT was JPT let me measure my communication skill, and to measure the ability above N1 JLPT. After I graduate from my graduate studies, I want to work at an advertising company in Japan. JPT’s question are sophisticated, and easily understandable compare to other kind of tests.
I want to be friends with a lot of Japanese, and learn more about things related to advertising.

AHN YEEUN
(REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Undergraduate student)
My goal is to work for a Foreign-affiliated firm in Japan. I started studying Japanese because I want to be the only person who can do a certain job by being a bilingual.
I think JPT is a great test to measure the ability to use business Japanese.
Since I do not know a lot about idioms, I will put an effort to increase my vocabularies.
-
RITJITPIAN JANJIRA
(THAILAND, Undergraduate student)
I took JPT because I want to know my Japanese ability, and to work for Japanese company in my home country. Since there are not many people who are able to speak Japanese in Thailand, I think by being able to speak Japanese, it would increase my salary.
JPT is useful because it has a lot of questions regarding business Japanese too. And by taking JPT I now understand my ability to use polite form, understanding conversations, and to respond to questions appropriately are not enough.
-
LIM LI SING SARAH LILIAN
(SINGAPORE, Graduate student)
My goal is to be able to land myself on a Japanese manufacture company and I want to be able to speak my mind freely using Japanese inside the company.
I have compared several Japanese certification tests, and I feel that JPT is more approved in businesses aspect since JPT uses more business Japanese.
I really want to be able to speak Japanese in various circumstances, not only in daily life, but including certain special situations too in the future.
-
CHOO WAIKUAN
(MALAYSIA, Graduate student)
I feel that JPT is great because we can measure our ability to communicate in Japanese ranging from business Japanese to daily life conversations. And since it is similar to TOEIC®, beginners and experts can take the test together.
By taking JPT I now understand that my ability to provide appropriate responses are not enough.
I want to master the Japanese language, and work in a developed country in Asia which is Japan in the future.
