Features of the JPT
Just as the TOEIC®, the English proficiency test, the JPT is composed of 100 listening comprehension questions and 100 reading comprehension questions.
The same exam from beginner to advanced learners
The method is that Computer Based Testing with multiple choice that will evaluate your Japanese communication (learning) proficiency. Since it is an all-level competence test, you can take the same exam if are beginner or an advanced learner.
The test result is presented as a score
The test result is presented as a score on a scale of 10 to 990, rather than a pass or a fail result. (Listening comprehension is scored on a scale of 5 to 495, reading comprehension is scored on a scale of 5 to 495, presented in increments of 5 points)
